Business Development Executive
LHCS is looking for a sales focused individual to develop its offering to retail and business customers utilising the company’s spare capacity.
LHCS’s primary customer base are London local authorities. It provides home to school services for Special Educational Needs individuals as well as regular scheduled transport for Adult Services. The company has circa. 100 active buses, mostly wheelchair accessible, and given the nature of its core work there are significant opportunities to sell downtime services during the day and at weekends
The suitable candidate should ideally have prior knowledge of the coach and bus industry, its regular customers and also be creative in exploring new opportunities in what is currently a changing market. Previous experience working for a regional coach operator would be a preferable
Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Qualities
The company is also looking to boost its resources in tender and new business applications and would expect the successful candidate to assist in these areas at all levels of the process. Previous experience of tenders would be a bonus.
This is a key role in our business and this will be reflected in the salary and bonus package.
